Independence Day Advance Message

INVITATION

The flag hoisting ceremony to mark the Independence Day will be held at the Embassy premises on Wednesday, 15th August 2012. All members of the Indian community are invited to attend the function. Details of the programme are as under:

0815- 0830 hrs :      Arrival of Embassy personnel

0840-0855 hrs :       Arrival of guests

0855hrs :                Closing of Ceremonial Gate (Gate No. 1) of the Embassy

0900hrs :                Hoisting of the national flag by Ambassador

                              Singing of the national anthem

                              Guests to move into the Embassy auditorium

0915hrs :                 Reading of the President’s message to the nation by Ambassador

0935 hrs onwards :  Refreshments.

2.   It is requested that the members who desire to attend this ceremony may send theirconfirmations by 1000 hrs, Monday, 13th August 2012 to our mail idconsular@indianembassy.org.cn.

3.   All confirmations should contain member’s photo ID number, telephone/mobile number and email ID. Members will be required to bring the same photo ID to the Embassy for security purpose.

4.   All members may note that failure to register may lead to delays at entry.
